Federal measures for apprentices in designated Red Seal trades have existed in various forms, including grants and apprentice loans. Check current availability before relying on any of them.
Provincial supports
Provinces administer registration, technical training seats and, in some cases, allowances or travel support.
Employment Insurance
Apprentices in technical training may be able to claim EI for those periods. Apply early and follow the process your training provider describes.
